Recommended to perform few repetitions, slow neck stretches ease neck tension and strain. This asana can be easily done standing anywhere, even sitting on a chair!

  1. Full body Tadasana

Full body Tadasana

Practicing this Asana every morning helps you tighten your muscles so that your posture is not only better, but also pain-free. Especially if you work a sedentary, desk job.
It works to align your skeleton and bring it back to a neutral stance. When this happens your body comes into the start point for all the other asanas to follow.

  1. Dhanurasana

Dhanurasana

Dhanurasana helps tone your chest and neck. Just lie flat on your stomach. Fold your knees and gently lift them off the floor. Stretch your arm at the back and reach for your feet. Lift your chest off the floor, such that your body is in your stomach.

  1. Salabhasana

Salabhasana

Popularly known as the Grasshopper pose, this asana strengthens the arm, leg and the abdomen. It’s a perfect asana to balance your body weight. Just lie flat on the floor with your tummy facing the ground. Lift your legs off the floor right from the thighs. Tighten your buttocks. This helps tone your entire body.

Losing weight is just the beginning, as it is important to maintain your physique or you will be back to square one.
