What type of body do you want? Are you dreaming for a strong lean body with toned muscles?

Remember that strength isn’t solely a property of muscles, but rather a property of the neuromuscular system.

Yoga, Pilates, etc. are workouts that offer and encourage the development of a lean, toned body. With movements focusing on strengthening the body’s core and stretching it these exercises improve flexibility, balance, and athleticism.

For a flat, toned stomach with strong core muscles including six pack abs, strong hips and back it is best to plank it out.  Adding an exercise to a plank, like raising an arm off the ground while holding a plank position increases the challenge and strengthens your abdomen. It also builds your legs, glutes, back, shoulders and arms. Some popular plank exercises are Rotating Extension, Mobility Plank, and Plank with front Raise.

For a super lean and toned body, go for crush workout, which will build sizeable muscle mass and greater functional strength that enables you to lift more. Your body is put through a variety of movements, ranges, and a strategic high intensity works out. They can be performed anywhere with no equipment by people of all abilities.

If you want to shape your lower body and add flexibility to your hips then a lunge workout is the best for you as it is a more effective lower body workout. To make it more challenging and effective, hold a dumbbell in each hand by your side and place your hands beside your hips, pull the shoulder back and stand tall. Then step forward with your right leg and slowly lower the body until the front knee is bent 90 degrees. The back knee should never touch the floor. Then repeat this cycle with the left.

Fitness is more than simply exercising on a consistent regular basis. As we all know that a slim, fit and lean body with toned muscles doesn’t happen overnight.
