Dumbbells can give you a great full body workout and are ever preferred for certain exercises by some. For each body part, there is a wide variety of dumbbell movements that can be performed, some barbell movements can also easily be adapted and tweaked slightly to be performed with dumbbells.
Using dumbbells allows you to train one side of your body at a time, which is great for curing any strength imbalances you have developed. And because each limb moves independently, your core has to brace harder to prevent you from tipping to one side.

Deadlifts, Squats, and Leg Raises Squats can be done with the dumbbell weight, but the way to hold them depends on the preference of the user. As leg raises don’t need a dumbbell, but you could probably finesse it if you wanted to, if you have a cable machine anywhere they can be done with this as well.
Dumbbell squats and calf raises are the best you have for your legs, they work and are pretty. You can find the result within some months.
For all of these exercises make sure you know what you are doing and also have good form, because once the weights begin to add up this will suddenly become much more important also to stick with dumbbell exercises to get the best results.
