World Bicycle Day is celebrated on 3rd June every year. Pollution is one of the significant issues in many cities around the world and this was why UN General Assembly established this day. History Of World Bicycle Day

It was Professor Leszbek Sibilski of the United States along with his students whose efforts and a campaign to promote a UN Resolution for World Bicycle Day led to the formation of this day. Many countries showed their support for his campaign and nudged UN to mark this as a day of global importance.
