We’ve seen numerous transformations over the years in Bollywood, but SRK’s transformation stands out because of the simple fact that he transformed his 40+ body to a younger man’s body. SRK’s Diet Plan
Shahrukh is an ardent follower of a healthy and balanced diet. His diet plan is a combination of low carbs and high proteins. His day consists of having 6-7 small meals throughout the day. Green leafy vegetables, fruits, protein drink, chicken, egg whites, pulses, skimmed milk and lean meats are included in his meals. He avoids eating processed food and sugar as much as he can.He also avoids unhealthy and fried food.
- Breakfast: Egg whites, brown bread, coffee
- Lunch/Dinner: Stir-fried vegetables with grilled chicken or fish, chicken sandwiches, salad
- Snacks: Sweet potato, sprout or egg white omelet
- Supplements: Protein powder and shakes through the day
SRK’s Workout Regime
SRK follows a disciplined life and likes to mix different workout routines to avoid boredom. Under strict training and guidance from celebrity fitness trainer, Prashant Sawant, SRK has succeeded to build his sculpted body with 8-packs. He hits the gym 5 days in a week and follows a very rigorous workout regime. He does not train for more than 45 minutes in a day. But the 45 minutes he spends working out are very severe.
SRK focuses on one body part at a time and covers working out his entire body through the week. His workouts consist of functional and strength training along with a focus on weight and suspension training for a full-body workout. To tone his abdominal muscles, he prefers to do a 10-minute cardio workout. SRK is a firm believer in building and having a good stamina and endurance. He never misses an opportunity to work out at the gym even when he is traveling or has a busy schedule.
Shahrukh is far from giving in to age. In fact, he’s only getting better with age. He has been working religiously with determination and passion to sculpt his fit body. Even at 52, he has achieved a chiseled body with sculpted abs that still make girls and women go gaga!!
